Please read these terms before using Client Scale Ops services.
This page summarizes our key terms for informational purposes. The complete Terms of Service, including full billing, cancellation, and legal provisions, are part of the Onboarding Agreement you accept at setup, which governs your account.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and Client Scale Ops ("CSO"). By paying the setup fee, signing up, or using any CSO service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the full Terms of Service in your Onboarding Agreement.
CSO provides a 24/7 receptionist service that answers inbound calls, collects caller information, and delivers call summaries to you, along with a dedicated business phone number and related notification tools. Optional add-ons (Google Business Profile management, social media management, SMS marketing) are available separately — see csoclientscaleops.com/pricing for current offerings and rates. CSO reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service with 30 days written notice.
A one-time, non-refundable onboarding fee applies at signup. Service begins once payment is verified. Your first month of service is a complimentary promotional month; billing begins the following month at your plan's regular rate. Current plans and pricing are listed at csoclientscaleops.com/pricing.
Note: If service is cancelled before three consecutive paid billing periods are completed, a per-minute usage charge applies to your complimentary month in place of the waived subscription fee. Full details are in your Onboarding Agreement.
Digital assets CSO creates or provisions for your account — including your phone number, receptionist scripts, and call recordings — remain CSO's property. You're granted a limited license to use them while your subscription is active. Full asset-handling terms upon cancellation are in your Onboarding Agreement.
You may cancel at any time by written notice to support@csoclientscaleops.com — there is no early termination fee. If you cancel before completing three consecutive paid billing periods, the complimentary-month usage charge described in Section 02 applies. The onboarding fee is non-refundable, and no refunds are issued for unused portions of a paid billing period. Complete cancellation terms are set out in your Onboarding Agreement.
You agree to provide accurate business information, keep it current, maintain a valid payment method, and use the service only for lawful purposes. CSO provides services on an "as available" basis and is not liable for lost business, missed jobs, or indirect damages arising from service interruptions; CSO's total liability under these Terms is capped at the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding a claim. Full terms are in your Onboarding Agreement.
By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that:
Note: Many states require that all parties to a call be notified it is being recorded. You are responsible for ensuring your use of this service complies with call recording laws in your state and the states where your callers may be located.
This section covers messages CSO sends to you about calls your business receives. Section 08 below covers a separate topic: text messages CSO sends to your customers on your behalf.
By signing up for CSO services, you agree to receive SMS/text message notifications from Client Scale Ops containing summaries of calls handled by your receptionist, including caller name, issue description, and callback information.
Note: Opting out of SMS notifications may affect your ability to receive timely call alerts and is not recommended while using the receptionist service.
As part of the receptionist service, CSO sends text messages to your customers — for example, appointment confirmations and technician-arrival updates — using your business's name and identity, not CSO's.
By signing up for this service, you:
Carrier registration and interim coverage: Before CSO can text your customers using standard carrier SMS, your business must be individually registered with U.S. wireless carriers (a process known as A2P 10DLC registration), using the business information you provide during onboarding. This is a carrier-controlled process typically taking one to two weeks, and occasionally longer, after your information is submitted; CSO does not control this timeline. During this registration period, CSO may deliver the same information to your customers by outbound phone call and/or iMessage (where the recipient's device supports it), at no additional charge, until standard SMS is available for your business.
Marketing and promotional messages. The service-related texts described above are informational, not promotional. If you enroll in CSO's optional SMS Marketing / customer-reactivation add-on, promotional messages (such as service reminders or special offers) will only be sent to a customer who has separately and affirmatively agreed, in writing, to receive marketing messages from your business, using a consent process CSO will provide as part of that add-on. CSO will not send marketing messages to a customer based solely on the service-related consent described above.
CSO may update these Terms at any time, with at least 14 days email notice before changes take effect; if you don't agree, you may cancel within that window without an early termination fee (charges already accrued, including any applicable complimentary-month usage charge, remain payable). These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, with disputes resolved in the courts of Ocala, Florida.
